Menara TM (Telekom Malaysia) With its seventy seven storey’s rising one thousand one hundred feet above ground level the new headquarters building for Telekom Malaysia will present an impressive landmark for visitors arriving in Malaysia through the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The project is, in all respects, a significant building for the recently privatized national telecommunications company which is emerging as a world class contender in its field. Over 2.4 million square feet in gross floor area, the building will provide office space for 7000 Telekom staff, a 1,500 seats auditorium, an indoor sports hall and covered parking for 1,600 cars. A lead feature of the building is an extensive, state-of-the-art data and communication systems.
Upon completion of Menara Telekom on November 2002, HAPM was retained to strategically assist and facilitate the migration of 6,000 strong Telekom Malaysia personnel from various offices around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor in 3 months prior to the official launching by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed in February 2003.
With the time constraint, we were able to draw on our experience to manage the “office relocation” and setting out procedures and framework for the Operations and Maintenance of Menara Telekom.
The entire facility management operations for essential and non-essential services were developed. We believe every facility is unique by nature and require careful planning.
The student village is located at Vista Ilmu, within Desa Ilmu, which is a walking distance from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), a 5 min drive from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and a walking distance from Institut Perguruan Kota Samarahan.

The Multimedia University is the first major project to be undertaken in Malaysia’s cyber-city development “Cyberjaya”. The University development programme provides capacity for six thousand students in three phases of Stage 1 which is completed by June 1999.
The University buildings provide overall internal space of 120,000 sq. metres in a wide variety of architectural styles. A park-like setting is created, conducive to the development of creative thinking and buildings are low rise in order to harmonise as much as possible with the landscape.
The components of the University include the traditional facilities such as administration, student affairs, libraries and recreation, but also encompass the needs of the multimedia age, for example, an extensive network of plug-in-access points to enable students to hook their notebook computers into the University’s system. “Incubators” for the generation and development of new ideas are housed in a tranquil part of the University park, next to a man made lake.
The University’s five faculties include Creative Multimedia Studies, Multimedia Engineering, Information Technology, Management Studies and Multimedia Arts and Sciences.
